As soon as my feet got in them I knew they were awesome. My last pair was Aj ones and with protective spray (Meltonian) they got through 8 months of hard walking, biking, and occasional custodial nastiness. These feel even better, and I will tell the world that a shoe that costs half of what this type of shoe costs will last half as long as these. So don't worry, buy them, take care of them (at the end of the day put silica desiccant packs or even rice in them, buy some spray!), Enjoy them    Review by lksos
