There was a lot of hype about these having excellent ankle support, but the serious high school athlete would be smart to purchase ankle braces and NOT rely on the shoe's design for full protection. The top shoelace hole BROKE after about 8 uses (never worn outside or more than an hour at a time), rendering them useless and they refused to replace them. Very disappointed. We are typically an ALL-NIKE family, but I'm pretty angry in their refusal to stand behind this shoe with so little use.    Review by carole012
